0/ 18 seals

Each landmark hides three paper lanterns on its approach. Find all three for its seal; each one tells you something true. Seals also come from the Mufu morning photographs, and a kite ring run crosses the whole city.

Photos from the morning

Fly the bird kite

Use the bird icon or K anywhere to take off. WASD steers, the mouse or a drag looks around, Space / E climbs, Ctrl / Q descends, and Shift flies faster. Press K again to land on the nearest path. Touch arrows and + / − work on a phone.

Choose an entrance pin on the 3D map, then use W A S D and drag the scenery to look. Hold Shift to move faster. Double-click the scenery for mouse capture; Esc releases it. Touch users can drag and use the arrows, or choose Guided walk.

The whole circuit

Whole circuit (or T) hands the camera over and walks the entire place for you in about five minutes: up through the woods at first light, out over the ridge, along the ridge trail, onto the river terrace, down the coloured road, and then the long riverside into the evening. Press Esc, or any movement key, to step off wherever you are and carry on by yourself. Use Map to return to the aerial view and choose another entrance.

The morning

Twenty photographs from a single walk on 26 September 2026, 06:16 to 08:26, stand beside the path as lit frames. Walk up to one and it opens with the time it was taken. Walk the morning (or M) follows them in order and moves the light from first light towards mid-morning as you go. The photos in this menu jump straight to any of them.

The frames sit in the order the walk happened, along the modelled routes. They are not placed by GPS: most of the original fixes are network fixes that cannot establish a real route. The published images are resized copies with all camera, location and timestamp metadata removed; the full-resolution originals are private and are not part of this site.

Picture quality

Cinematic adds sun shafts, soft shadows, contact shading, bloom and grain. If the frame rate drops the site will step down on its own once; choosing a setting here fixes it for good.

A personal reconstruction

Adapted from the photo-informed Blender scene. Terrain, routes and dimensions are approximate; this is an artistic walking game, not a real-world navigation map. Weather transitions are fictional. Passing ships and the rotating beacon are animated scenic additions, not live navigation or vessel-tracking data. Use “Watch river & beacon” to see them. Lightweight trees and materials keep the landscape playable in a browser.
